Guide your forces through the treacherous Angel Gate in Tempest Rising. Learn to capture relay beacons, secure generators, and defend the Gatehouse against overwhelming Ork and Tyranid forces.

Alright, welcome to Angel Gate! This mission is going to be a tough one, so pay close attention. You're going to be facing down a ton of Orks who are just looking to loot everything, plus an endless swarm of Tyranids. It's a real fight for survival.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
First things first, you need to start capturing those relay beacons scattered around. While you're doing that, make sure to secure the Foundry located to the north of your starting position.
  2. 2
Within Angel's Gate itself, you'll need to find and secure six squads of Guardsmen. Keep an eye out for them!
  3. 3
Next, focus on the west side of the map. You'll find three generators there. Capture and activate all of them. This will power up the Gatehouse.
  4. 4
Once the Gatehouse is powered, you need to capture it. This is crucial because it will close the main Fortress-like Gates of your base, giving you a much-needed defensive advantage.
  5. 5
Don't stop there! Head over to the eastern side of the map and secure the remaining generators. Activating these will power up the base's defense turrets, which will be a huge help.
  6. 6
Now comes the really challenging part: the Gatehouse itself will be crawling with Tyranids. We're talking everything from Gaunts to massive Carnifexes. It's going to feel like a nightmare, but we'll get through it.
  7. 7
To defend the central gates, have Cyrus and Avitus garrison both Guard Towers. They'll be able to use some of their special abilities from within the towers, which is a big advantage.
  8. 8
For securing the Gatehouse, Tarkus is your best bet. Make sure he has the [I SHALL NOT FALL] trait and use his [TACTICAL ADVANCE] ability. He's the most survivable for holding that objective.
  9. 9
If Tarkus starts running low on energy while securing the Gatehouse, don't hesitate to use the fall back command (press the X-key). This will let him regain energy at the nearest relay beacon.
