Tempest Rising: Conquer Argent Glacier Mission

Alright, let's tackle the Argent Glacier mission in Tempest Rising. This one's a pretty straightforward tutorial, so just keep your eyes peeled and follow the on-screen prompts. You'll be advancing towards your objectives in no time.

Heads up: The enemy Guardsmen in this area are tougher than they look and they've got Frag Grenades, just like your own Space Marines. They also like to hide out in buildings, but don't worry, Cyrus can easily deal with those using his Demolition Charges. You'll also find some automated Sentry Guns lying around; Tarkus can take those out with a Frag Grenade of his own. Remember, your Force Commander starts with a Jetpack – use it to stomp on those Guardsmen!

Walkthrough

Once your squad of four – that's the Force Commander, Tarkus, Avitus, and Cyrus – is all together, head towards the Beacon. This is where the Blood Raven distress signal is coming from. After you reach it, you'll get a cutscene.

Your next job is to find and destroy the enemy Communications Array. It's located to the north. While you're at it, make sure to capture any Relay Beacons you find and take down those Guardsmen. They might be a bit cowardly, but they hit hard.

After clearing out the area, make your way to the Extraction Point. It's on the eastern side of the map. Here's the tricky part: you need to defend the Relay Beacon while a whole bunch of Guardsmen try to overwhelm you.

To defend the beacon, have Avitus garrison the building right next to it and use his [FOCUS FIRE]. The Force Commander should use [ASSAULT JUMP] to charge into enemies, while Tarkus stays near the Relay Beacon, using [TACTICAL ADVANCE] to keep it safe. Keep Cyrus in [INFILTRATE] mode so he can use [INSTANT REVIVE] on any squads that get knocked out.

Warning: Expect constant artillery barrages. They'll keep coming, so you'll need to stay alert and keep moving to avoid getting caught in the explosions.
