Complete the Shadow Temple Master Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Find Hover Boots, Small Keys, and 81 Gold Skulltulas.
Walkthrough
- 1Stand on the pedestal and cast Din's Fire to light all torches, granting access.
- 2Hookshot across the gap and walk through the fake wall.
- 3Use the Lens of Truth (a tool that reveals hidden things) to find a fake wall with bombable rocks. Bomb it and enter to find a locked door.
- 4Examine the center apparatus. Equip the Lens of Truth to find a pillar with a skull only visible with the lens. Push the gear to point towards it to unlock the door across the pit.
- 5Look high on either side of the door for two torches to light with Fire Arrows.
- 6Proceed down the incline and find a fake wall to the south (turn left from the entrance).
- 7Head through the door behind it to find a room of Gibdos (mummy-like enemies). Clear the room to get a Small Key.
- 8Head to the northern door (also behind a fake wall) to enter a room with a spinning blade. Use crouches to dodge the lower blade and collect the five Silver Rupees.
- 9Open the chest that appears to get the Dungeon Map.
- 10In one of the room's alcoves, approach the sign that says "come here if you want to see a ferry to the other world" to fall into a small cubby.
- 11Grab the invisible Skulltula and the Small Key from an invisible chest here.
- 12Clear the enemies in the room to exit from the same door you came in from.
- 13Return to the room with the gear apparatus and locked door.
- 14Enter and equip your Lens of Truth to see where the fake walls are.
- 15Head down the first door on the left to find a room with 4 ReDeads (zombie-like enemies). Defeat them all to get a chest with the Compass.
- 16Exit back to the corridor and look for a time block behind a fake wall. Play the Song of Time to remove it and pass through.
- 17Shoot the middle eye switch with an arrow to remove the ice block in the corner behind a fake wall. Go through there.
- 18Fight the Dead Hand (a boss enemy) using your Lens of Truth to see where it hides and throwing Bombs at it.
- 19Once you defeat it, you will get the Hover Boots.
- 20Go back to the room with the Beamos (a stationary turret enemy) and 3 rocks. Bomb the real rock straight ahead.
- 21Open the locked door behind it and head down the pathway, past the Beamos, Bladetraps, Skulltula, and first set of guillotines towards a large area.
- 22Look to the corner to see a set of Silver Rupees.
- 23Run to the end of the passageway, where the two Beamos are, and look to your right to a frozen eye switch.
- 24Equip the Lens of Truth to see an invisible platform right in front of it, then hop across and shoot it.
- 25Head through the door at the end of this particular set of platforms.
- 26Collect the 5 Silver Rupees scattered around (the one in the corner is floating; play the Song of Time to summon a time block and grab it).
- 27Open the chest in the small room that's now open for a Blue Rupee.
- 28Equip your Lens of Truth to see a second, invisible chest containing a Small Key.
- 29Return to the previous room and leap across, past the Beamos.
- 30Collect the 5 Silver Rupees in the area you saw earlier, using the Hookshot target on the ceiling to collect the two floating ones. A small chest containing Arrows will appear.
- 31Hit the nearby crystal switch and head to the back.
- 32In the next room, equip the Lens of Truth to see a stone block in the wall you can pull out to protect yourself from falling spikes.
- 33Pull the block to the middle of the two spikes to block both from reaching the ground.
- 34Examine the jail cells to get Gold Skulltula #82, as well as a chest containing more Arrows.
- 35Pull the block to the end of the path to use it to clamber onto the nearby ledge.
- 36Use the topside of the falling spikes to cross to the switch on the other side. Step on it to reveal a chest containing a Small Key. There is another chest here containing a Blue Rupee.
- 37Return to the previous room and use your Hover Boots to cross to the locked door on the ledge near a guillotine with a sign about "sacred feet".
- 38In this room, keep the Hover Boots on to glide over invisible spikes easily.
- 39Kill the two ReDeads in the room to spawn a chest containing a Blue Rupee.
- 40Use the Lens of Truth to see the real Silver Rupees and collect them, using the Hookshot on any floating Rupees.
- 41Open the locked door to the north.
- 42Equip the Iron Boots to fight the wind.
- 43Head down to the end of the bridge to a room with ReDeads. Kill them.
- 44Look for an invisible chest to get a Small Key.
- 45Grab Gold Skulltula #83.
- 46Return to the bridge, look for a fake wall, and equip your Hover Boots to glide over with the wind at your back.
- 47Inside, kill the Gibdos and open the chest they spawn for a Blue Rupee.
- 48Blow up the rocks in the corner by the locked door for Gold Skulltula #84.
- 49There is another invisible chest in this room containing Arrows.
- 50Enter the locked door.
- 51Pull the block in the corner for a shortcut back to the first room with the spinning blades.
- 52Use the block to reach the ladder on the opposite ledge, then board the boat and play Zelda's Lullaby.
- 53After the boat moves and Stalfos appear, keep your shield up or fight them.
- 54Leap off at the end.
- 55Look across the pit and shoot the Bomb Flowers to make a bridge.
