Guide to Temple of the Ocean King (4) in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Learn how to defeat Swift Phantoms, find Force Shards, and draw the Triforce symbol.
Walkthrough
- 1Enter the first basement and face red Phantoms, known as Swift Phantoms, which are faster than previous enemies. Use your Bow and Arrow to shoot them in the back and stun them.
- 2Head right and up, bomb the rocks, step on the switch, and grab the key. Proceed through the locked door.
- 3On the next floor, hit the switches to drop the key. Stun the Swift Phantom if needed. Bomb the wall and proceed through.
- 4If the Swift Phantom has the key, wait for it to pass, stun it with your bow, and grab the key. Head through the blocks to the locked door.
- 5Bomb the west wall for an extra 30 seconds, then go downstairs.
- 6On the next floor, go to the northwest corner for the first Force Shard and return it to the pedestal.
- 7Bomb the east rocks for 30 seconds. Use the Boomerang to hit the switch to the south.
- 8Jump down and head to the raised platform. Use the shovel to uncover the rising wind.
- 9After dropping or stunning the Red Phantom for the key, shoot the eye on the north wall to reveal a chest near the pedestals. Quickly reach it before it disappears to find a Power Gem.
- 10Go to the southeast corner, grab the second Force Shard, and return it to its pedestal.
- 11Get the third Force Shard from behind the locked door, return it to the pedestal, and proceed through the door. Grab extra time on the left side of the room, then go downstairs.
- 12On the next floor, head downward, hit the switch, and take out the Phantom Eye. Grab 30 seconds in the corner with the Boomerang.
- 13Head up and around to the north. Take out the Phantom Eye around the corner and the one to the south.
- 14Dig up the rising wind to hit the switch. Use the Boomerang to get 30 seconds to the north.
- 15Bomb the north wall, hit the switch, and grab the key. Go out the locked door and down the stairs.
- 16On the next floor, switch to the left and grab 30 seconds in the room to the right.
- 17Enter the enemy room with four Red Bubbles. Defeat them and grab the 15 seconds behind the spikes.
- 18In the next enemy room, kill the three large worms. Grab the 15 seconds and go up.
- 19Hit the switch to the right, grab the chest for a Big Green Rupee, then go down the stairs.
- 20In the room with the Crested Door, run south (avoiding Phantoms and Eyes) and step on the switch to reach the door.
- 21Draw the Triforce symbol on the door in one line. The sequence is: start at the top left, draw down to the bottom left, draw across to the bottom right, draw up to the middle, draw down to the bottom middle, draw across to the bottom right, draw up to the middle right, draw across to the middle left, draw up to the top left.
- 22After drawing the symbol, the door opens to a new room. Talk to the skeleton to open a golden portal that saves your progress and current time. Use the entrance portal to return here without replaying the previous floors.
- 23Head back downstairs to the next level.
- 24In the new section, step onto the moving blocks and proceed to the safe zone, avoiding arrows.
- 25Grab 30 seconds from a jar to the right with the Boomerang, then move left.
- 26Walk slowly on the magic water floor to avoid attracting nearby Phantoms. Head south past the Swift Phantom and down the stairs.
- 27On the next floor, wait for the phantom to cross the invisible floor, then follow it. Proceed up the stairs to the south.
- 28When you emerge, wait for the stationary Phantom to look right, then stun it with your bow. Hit the switch to its right.
- 29Run to the moving block behind where the fire was before it returns. Ride the blocks north, avoiding arrows.
