Walkthrough
- 1Depart for Roseway: Set course for Roseway Landing Pad on Terra 2. Ellie may wish to speak with you, but this is not a companion quest start.
- 2Landing Pad Area: Collect minor loot and 3 Mag Picks from a crate. Note the appearance of Light Pistol Mk 2 and Sentry Sabre Mk 2 weapons. Look for 'The Vermin' handgun on Marauders for the 'Never Seen' trophy.
- 3Road to Settlement: Proceed down the steps from the Landing Pad. Loot the area and head down the road. You'll find a Corporate Commander's body and abandoned buildings. A level 40 locked building on the left contains loot.
- 4Right Fork: Head right up the road to be attacked by three raptidons. Loot a body inside an open building, find provisions, and a datapad. Continue for more bodies and loot containers.
- 5Distillery: At the street's end, head west to unlock the Distillery map marker. Kill any raptidons encountered. Pick up the Wooly Cow Rug inside.
- 6Return and Continue: Go back to the junction and past the Mechanical Autoloader. Loot a body on a porch. A building across the way has a level 15 lock, containing provisions, minor loot, a terminal, and Snakeskin for your ship. Loot bodies outside the settlement gate.
- 7Entering the Settlement: Proceed into the settlement. Speak with soldier Berke, who directs you to Anton Crane in the comms centre.
- 8Orson Shaw's Quarters: Go left and through a door to find Orson Shaw's quarters. You can engage in dialogue, potentially making a level 30 Science check for XP. If you agree to help with schematics, you initiate the 'Vulcan's Hammer' quest. A workbench is present, and a level 15 locked door leads to a storage room with loot.
- 9The 17th Bar: The 17th Bar is open. Della Jennings sells provisions and offers background information.
- 10Roseway Luxury Apartments: West of the 17th Bar, enter the apartments. Turn right and enter an apartment to talk to Vaughn Cortes. Agreeing to help initiates the 'Amateur Alchemist' quest.
- 11Apartment Loot: Return to the entrance and go up. The apartment to the right contains the unique Raptidon Handler's Armor and the RPG rulebook 'Systems and Serfdoms'. The apartment opposite has minor loot.
- 12Upper Level: Return to the entrance, turn left, and go to the upper level. Find named NPCs, a workbench, and a vending machine. A level 25 locked door leads to Anton's quarters. A case with another level 25 lock and a level 16 terminal with Anton's personal files are also present.
- 13Comms Centre: Head to the comms centre to find Anton Crane.
- 14Anton Crane Dialogue: Ask why the distress signal was cancelled. Make a level 30 Intimidate check to learn about appetite suppressant toothpaste research. Agree to retrieve his research (5916XP) to advance 'The Doom That Came to Roseway'. Anton requests the raptidon mother be left alive and asks you to rescue Jameson from the old lab, initiating 'By His Bootstraps'.
- 15Auntie-Biotics Lab Entrance: Leave via the settlement's southern entrance. Proceed along the road, dealing with raptidons and a patrolling robot outside the lab.
- 16Lab Lobby: Enter the lab. Find a vending machine and a Corporate Commander's body. Take the Cleo Lab Office Keycard. Loot another body, containers, and hack a level 15 terminal for a passcode for 'Vulcan's Hammer' and to open a level 40 locked door.
- 17Lab Interior - Storage: The right-hand door leads to a storage cupboard. The door next to it, opened via the terminal, leads further in.
- 18Lab Interior - Experiments: Go through the next door to find a security robot fighting a raptidon. Loot minor items and go up the ramp. A door at the top leads outside (ignore for now). The next door leads to an office with a terminal displaying unethical experiment results.
- 19Lab Interior - Jameson's Location: The large room beyond has raptidon enemies and many bodies. The door at the top left, opened with the Cleo Lab Office Keycard, contains Jameson.
- 20Rescuing Jameson: Talk to Jameson. He will return to Roseway (9000XP).
- 21Lab Interior - Storeroom: Return to the previous room and go through the upper right door to find a storeroom with bodies and a level 15 locked container.
- 22Lab Interior - Lower Room: Leave the large room and go to the end of the balcony to find a ladder down. This room contains hostile robots and more bodies to loot. Find Medical Journals for Ellie's cabin.
- 23Exit Lab: Return to the lobby and leave the lab.
- 24Final Road Section: Back on the road, head east. Kill raptidons and loot bodies.
