Akira is an extremely advanced character, not recommended for beginners. Mastering his moves takes a significant amount of time and practice. While he may appear simple, his complex execution requires dedication. It is advised to master other characters first before attempting to main Akira. Even experienced players may struggle to master him, and new players picking Akira often struggle to perform even basic moves, making them easy targets for opponents.

His fighting style can be predictable, with moves that are easily telegraphed, allowing for blocks or dodges. However, Akira is not a weak character. With mastery, he becomes a powerhouse with devastating combos. His simple moves can inflict damage comparable to multi-hit combos from other characters. Facing an Akira master is a testament to their dedication and skill.

Despite his slow and complicated fighting style, which may deter some from learning his advanced moves, Akira remains a strong offensive and defensive fighter capable of dealing significant damage and withstanding attacks.
