Learn how to get the Wolfchaser Art skill in where winds meet by infiltrating the Skill Theft tower and looting a chest.
- 1Make your way to the large tower where the skill theft master trains in the Heavenquake Spear dojo area.
- 2Take the ramp down from the platform where one guard overlooks the courtyard. Eliminate this guard and the one patrolling behind him.
- 3Descend the ramp again and wait behind the boxes on the left. Wait for the guard on the right to turn away and ensure the other guard is not patrolling within sight before eliminating the guard on the left.
- 4Once those conditions are met, eliminate the guard on the right while the patrol is not looking.
- 5Reach the bottom of the Skill Theft tower. Patiently assassinate the two guards when others are not looking or patrolling.
- 6With those two guards down, sneak up on the patrol and the guard facing the direction you need to go. Eliminate them both when it is safe.
- 7You will encounter two guards patrolling side by side who cannot be killed directly. Walk up the ramp on the left to get above them.
- 8Follow the walkway to the left that goes through the wooden wall. Wait until the guards are not nearby before dropping in.
- 9You can now safely loot the chest to get the Wolfchaser Art skill.
How to Use Wolfchaser Art:
To use this skill effectively, combine it with the Strategic Spear build in where winds meet. Both weapons utilize Bleed stacks to build up damage and burst enemies.
When slotted into your Inner Ways slots, the Wolfchaser Art will:
- Reduce the required combo number to gain Heavenquake Spear’s Martial Art skill, Sober Sorrow buff, from 5/10 to 4/8.
- Each time Sober Sorrow hits a boss with a Bleed effect from you, there is a 20%/40%/60%/80%/100% chance to increase the combo count by 1, based on the number of Bleed stacks.
This skill provides an additional method to apply bleeds, especially when used with your basic martial art skill that buffs you based on hit count. It is most effective when the target already has bleed applied from any source, allowing the chance to increase the combo count based on stacks. When combined with skills like Fivefold Bleed that apply multiple stacks per refresh burst, Wolfchaser Art can easily cycle extra bleeds, enabling quick weapon switch bursts. It significantly smooths out the playstyle rotation.
Wolfchaser Art Breakthroughs:
- Tier 1: Increase the duration of the Sober DPS buff.
- Tier 2: Increase Affinity Rate from solo mode level.
- Tier 3: Increases damage.
- Tier 4: Increase the damage of your special skills and heal based on the damage you deal.
- Tier 5: Increase Affinity Damage by 2.5%.
- Tier 6: When landing at least 5 attacks from your Sober skill within 3 seconds, applies 1 stack for 15 seconds that increases the damage taken from effects.
These upgrades offer substantial support and DPS increases. While not immediately necessary, they are beneficial for improving overall DPS as your build develops. It is recommended to prioritize skill upgrades for Fivefold Bleed and Bitter Seasons first, or consider Seasonal Edge for its bonus Affinity, Crit, and Physical Damage buffs.
