Alright, let's tackle the Abyss of Desire Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet! To get started, you'll need to make your way to Heavenly Pier, located in the Moonveil area. You'll naturally pass through here during the main story with your uncle, especially around the General's Shrine. Once you reach the town, follow the dirt road to the right, heading towards the bar and then further down to the pier. Keep an eye out for a fellow named Wu Bai on your left; he's the one who'll offer you this Wandering Tale about mysterious travelers and their origins. Just remember, he's a bit particular and will only share details if you trade him some festival wine.

Now, to actually move forward with this quest, you'll need to collect three different bottles of 'Parting Tears'. Don't worry, finding them is pretty straightforward:

1. The first Parting Tear is chilling by the bar, right where the Lone Drinker is hanging out. You would have passed this spot when you first entered the village.
2. Next up, head to the west side of the village, along the pier. You'll find another Parting Tear near where Wu Bai is standing, specifically on a crate next to a woman.
3. Once you've snagged those two, bring one of them back to Wu Bai. This will trigger the next part of his request: he'll ask for a 'Parting Tear Reserve'.
4. To get the Reserve, head back into town and look for the Stall Owner right next to the bar. Interact with them, cycle through the dialogue options, and you'll get the Reserve.
5. Now, take that Reserve back to Wu Bai. He'll then ask you for a 'Large Jar of Parting Tear'.
6. For this big one, you'll need to go further up the hill in the center of Heavenly Pier, towards the actual brewer. Look for an area bustling with workers during the day. Your target is one of the storage jars on the far left – you should spot the large jar right at the front.

With all the jars collected, you can hand them over to Wu Bai. This will advance the Abyss of Desire Wandering Tale, giving you more insight into the game's world and unfolding events. After you give him the final item, he'll vanish, and you can check your journal under the 'wandering' tab for your rewards, which include exploration progress, money, and experience.

Oh, and here's a little bonus: there's actually a spare Parting Tear! You can give this extra one to an NPC named Sun Sun. He's located up the dirt hill from the wooden pier, standing with another gentleman near the top. Hand him the tear, and he'll give you a 'treasure map' featuring the Killerblade's face. This map is actually part of another Wandering Tale, 'A Foolproof Plan', which offers its own set of rewards. So, collecting these Parting Tears really helps you knock out two quests at once!
