Find all 21 Bamboo Shoot locations in wuchang fallen feathers, including Bamboozlers and quest rewards. Some are missable.
Bamboo Shoots are typically found in one of two situations. You can typically find the Bamboo Shoots taking the form of Bamboozlers. They are little carrot people that run from one point to another and hide when they reach that spot. You will need to run up to them and hit them quickly to get the reward. Alternatively, some Bamboo Shoots can be earned via quest rewards. Keep that in mind when looking to get these items.
- 1Worship’s Rise - Lightzen Temple: After leaving the temple by using the key from the boss, you’ll head down a path and find a Bamboozling.
- 2Worship’s Rise - Narrow Stretch: After meeting Nian Suichang, follow the path to the right to the end. This leads to the Panda cave where you can first spend your Bamboo Shoots.
- 3Worship’s Rise - Shu Sanctum: From the shrine, leave the main gate and follow the river along. It should path you towards the upper part of the village. Work your way through that village. Near the top where you go to fight the optional boss, there’s a door you can open that leads to a back garden. Find it there, but watch out for the pot and two Grave Robber enemies.
- 4Worship’s Rise - Mercury Workshop: From the shrine, drop to the path below (get the item and it’ll make you drop), and follow the linear path. Eventually you’ll come back to the red path where you can go left or right. Go right to the top and you’ll find the Bamboozler.
- 5Worship’s Rise - Lu Mansion: Go down the slope past the Red-Clad Lady and take the next right to the end. The Bamboozlin will be at the end of the path. If you don’t have this shrine, then follow the uphill path from Doomwillow Beach.
- 6Worship’s Rise - Palace Hills: Go down the shrine pathway and immediately on the left is a bamboozler on the roofed pathway.
- 7Cloudspire - Cloudspire Outskirts: At the end of the path from the Shrine after opening the shortcut.
- 8Cloudspire - Mort Grotto: From the shrine, follow the tunnel and back outside where the Elder Treant enemy is. Take the lift in the corner up and you’ll find it in front of you.
- 9Snowfall Palace: From the Shrine, hug the left wall as you go up, then look right to see it.
- 10Cloudspire - Shaft Entrance: When you see the swinging blade, drop to the platforms below and follow this path until you reach an open area with a big enemy, it spawns here.
- 11Mt Zhenwu - Avian Marsh: From the shrine, climb up the ladder for the shortcut. Carry on forward till you see the tree branch pathway. Look for a nest on the level below and land on it. Run along the pathway forward and a Bamboozler spawns along the path. Be careful of the Feathered Refugee suicide diver enemy.
- 12Mt. Zhenwu - Avian Dwelling: If you have the shortcut unlocked, take the pathway over to the other side of the dwelling at the same altitude as the shrine. The Bamboozler is across a tree branch bridge in view of the shrine. If not, then follow the Avian marsh pathway that leads back to the Dwelling. You should eventually follow pathways and ladders that bring you to this point where you can get the Bomboozler and the shortcut back the the Dwelling Shrine.
- 13Mt. Zhenwu - Antechamber: Climb the tower on the right and cross the bridge over the wall. Enter the large outdoor area, and the Bamboozler is on the right. Be careful of cannoneers next to the Bamboozler.
- 14Mt. Zhenwu - Pavilion of Knowledge: Ascend to the very top of the Puzzle tower ( the largest tower players path through to reach the end boss), and then take a left towards a bridge that leads inside the cliff. Inside is a shrine called the Pavillion of Knowledge. On the top floor of that cave section is the Storyteller NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you). If yeah speak to him, and press: _“Why have you come?_”, followed by “ _Heed the warning_”, you will get a story. After the story completes, he gives you 1x Bamboo Shoot.
- 15Mt. Zhenwu - Ferry Overlook: Go down the Ferry Overlook pathway and proceed to the very tip of the dock. If you told the Child in the Jar about the Boat, you can see the child sitting by the edge. Speaking to it will give you the Bamboo Shoot. Otherwise this is missable.
- 16Worship’s Rise Ruins - Palace: In Act 4, go towards the Palace area, and then path through the Lotus Ponds and go through the front exit. Follow the pathway down and move towards the red pools. The Bamboozler appears near the wooden bridge.
- 17Worship’s Rise Ruins - Shu Sanctum: In Chapter 4, go out of the main gate from Shu, and follow the pathway down. Keep going forward and enter the forest area. Follow the road around the stone building, and then turn left till you see the three way fork in the road. Go up the hill dead ahead, and the Bamboozler should spawn.
- 18Worship’s Rise Ruins - Annalum Courtyard: To get to this shrine, take the upper exit out of Shu Sanctum, go right and walk along the boulder trap pathway. Now go up the hill to find a plant bridge that leads to an invisible walkway. Once you reach the ground after the plant bridge, you’ll find it just up ahead. There’s a shrine nearby to respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) it if it escapes. Be careful though as the Shrine is a mimic you have to fight.
- 19Worship’s Rise Ruins - Palace Pass: On the cliffs past the Tang Palace, there’s a red vine-bridge leading towards a cave. A Bamboozling is chilling on the bridge, but Bo Magus is standing on the ramparts of a gatehouse to the left of the bridge, chucking magic at you.
- 20Bo Capital - Capital Entrance: Proceed from the Capital Entrance as normal. You should eventually reach a bit where you climb these red plant bridge things. Part way up where the Bird people and flayed red demon things are fighting is a Bamboo shoot.
- 21Bo Capital - Depths: From the Capital Depths shrine, go towards the large outdoor area. Look left and you should see an optional path.
- Some Bamboo Shoots, like the one at Mt. Zhenwu - Ferry Overlook, are missable if you do not interact with the correct NPC.
- Be aware of environmental hazards and enemies guarding Bamboozlers, such as Grave Robbers, cannoneers, and mimics.
