    Meeting 1: At the top of the Shu Sanctum, go up the stairs from the shrine to find him by the balcony. He gives you a Plumed Branch.

    Meeting 2: At Worship’s Rise, take the second set of stairs to your right from the Doomwillow Beach shrine, go left, and walk straight. He gives you a Crystalized Red Mercury.

    Meeting 5: At Mt. Zhenwu, Refugee Camp / Battlefield Site. Climb out of the Hillswatch Cave area and make your way through the village via a crack in the wall. Enter the second hovel to the right, go through the pathway in the middle back wall of the red pool cave. Follow the pathway with the Nine-Lotus Lantern Flag Bearers and turn right. Find a ladder leading to the Noble. Here, he asks if you will help him with a monster.

White Robed Elder Choice:

At Meeting 5, you have a choice to accept or refuse his request for help.

  • Refuse Choice:
    • You enter the Avian Marsh and Dwelling alone.
    • You will not get a summon for help against the Bo Sorcerer boss.
    • You next see the White Robed Elder in The Tomb, opposite the Avian Dwelling. He appears injured and has nothing to say, then despawns.
