Chapter 3 - Funeral of Fists

Arrive at Sera's funeral. To avoid attracting attention, hold R1/RB to walk and slowly move between patrolling guards.

Head up the main path, turn right down a side road, then left towards the far right door of the main building. A suit will block your entry, stating only staff can enter. Kiryu needs a mourning band.

Head up the stairs and towards the main entrance, approaching the tents. Speak to the man in the east-side tent. Select "Use a Fake Name" and then "Former Dojima Family."

Enter the main door. Speak to the man ahead and to the right to learn he lost his mourning band.

Go back outside and turn right into a small area with two chatting men. Find the lost mourning band on the ground (it will sparkle). The man who lost it will appear.

Return inside and approach the pair on the left to witness a scene where the man who lost the band gets fired.

Go back outside, turn right, and find the man propped against the wall smoking. He will mention he threw his mourning band in the trash.

Go behind the sign-in tent to find a small trash basket with a sparkle. Collect the mourning band.

Return to the man at the side entrance. Yasuda of the Omi Alliance will confront you. Defeat him in combat. Yasuda glows yellow when he heals.

Once Yasuda is defeated, enter the building. Speak to Shinji and follow him inside and around the HQ to the stairs.

Halfway up the stairs, you will find a Weapon Shop. You can purchase base weapons, equipment, and health items here.

Continue following Shinji to a side room. Enter and use first-person view to look at the five portraits on the wall. Press the Confirm button when they zoom in to "Look."

Kazama will enter, and you will speak with him. A fight will ensue.

First, defeat the four men in the room. Beast Style is effective against the couches and can help clear the room quickly.

After defeating the men, you will escape to the main garden. Defeat the group of relatively weak enemies.

To the right, you can find a Toughness ZZ and a Wooden Katana near a shed to the southwest.

Head towards the pond to find a knife thrower. Be cautious as you approach. Two more enemies are on the far side of the pond.

After defeating them, a new group of enemies will appear, including two more knife throwers and several armed individuals.

Head through the walls they broke to find more items. Go right to find another exit.

As you approach the door, you will fight a heavy enemy. A Toughness Emperor is in the northwest corner of the garden, a Toughness ZZ is in the longhouse, and a Staminan XX is behind boxes near the exit door.

Defeat the heavy enemy to proceed to the back entrance area. Head to the metal door on the wall. Grab another Staminan XX near the south door before proceeding.

You are back inside HQ. Fight through the thugs, making your way through the viewing room and out the other side. Collect any items you find.

Follow the objective marker. If you cannot see it, defeat nearby enemies.

Navigate the hallway, go up the stairs, and return to the main entrance.

Defeat the enemies at the main entrance. You will then face Goro Majima in a standard fight.

After defeating Majima, exit the building and defeat the large group of enemies outside.

You will face Futoshi Shimano, the first real boss. He has two health bars and is resilient. Wait for him to attack, then counter with Brawler or Rush style. You can use nearby lanterns for Beast style attacks. Shimano glows purple for his Kiwami move. Defeat him to end the chapter.
