Flower 4 (40)

Follow this guide to find Flower 4 in Yoshi's Island DS, collecting all red coins and navigating tricky platforms. Don't miss any secrets!

Alright, let's grab that fourth Flower in this level! It's hidden away, but we'll get it. First things first, head right from where you start and drop off the platform. Grab that red coin (that's number 10!) as you descend. You'll pass the Stork Stop; just drop back down to the door you originally entered from.

Now, turn right and head up some steps. You'll need to jump across some Bullet Bill cannons – just time your jumps and you'll be fine. After that, you'll see a couple of ice blocks sitting above a spike pit. Carefully jump and flutter from these ice blocks to reach the coins hanging above the spikes. Amongst those coins are two more red coins (that brings our total to 12!). Keep heading right until you reach the far platform. Go through the Middle Ring there, and then drop down the pipe.

This next room is a bit more involved. Start by dropping onto the ice blocks, then immediately hop onto the moving platforms below. You'll need to hop across two sets of green platforms, then make your way onto some rotating purple platforms. Watch out for that spiked pillar in the middle – don't touch it! Once you've navigated those, get onto the green platforms in the lower-right area. There's a red coin (number 13!) floating above the spikes here, so grab it. Now, to get to the upper-right area, you'll need to jump from the first set of purple platforms to the upper set of green platforms. From there, drop down to the green platforms below. As a platform is rising up, grab another red coin (that's 14!) above the spikes – be quick so you don't fall!

Keep an eye out for the next set of green platforms that rotate around the spiked pillars. There's a red coin (number 15!) hidden here; collect it by grabbing the coins near the center. Once you're on the right side, you'll see purple platforms moving in a square. Use these to jump and flutter your way to the high ledge to the right of the door – don't worry about the door itself right now. From this ledge, flutter to a block to your right. Then, carefully drop down along the line of coins, fluttering to the right as you descend. Grab the red coin as you fall (that's 16!), and try to land on the block at the bottom. Finally, jump and flutter across the icy blocks to reach the far right. You'll find the fourth Flower waiting for you there! Grab it, and then head up the pipe.
