Goal Ring (17)

Follow this guide to navigate the waterfall area, collect red coins, and reach the Goal Ring (17) in Yoshi's Island DS. Master the upward scrolling sections and use Baby DK effectively!

Alright, you've made it to the waterfall! Once you're at the bottom, hop off that raft and head right to the next section. Keep an eye out for a Middle Ring floating above you – jump into it and then make your way up the hill.

Here's where things get a bit tricky: as soon as you jump onto the first platform with a coin, the screen starts scrolling upwards. Your job is to keep up! You'll need to jump from one ledge to another, moving higher and higher. Look for a stake along the way; pound it to snag a red coin (that's coin #18!).

Next, you'll find a platform with a Stork Stop. If you don't have Baby DK with you yet, now's the time to switch! Grab the spiked ball hanging from the rope, then quickly climb that rope. From the top, jump onto the high donut-shaped ledge.

Keep climbing, jumping from platform to platform. You'll eventually spot a piranha plant on the right side. Take it out with an egg, then hop onto the ledge to your right to grab another red coin (that's #19!). Don't linger too long – drop down to the lower ledge quickly and hop up the platforms on the left.

You'll see some tilting platforms ahead. Carefully make your way across them – the rightmost one holds the final red coin for this section (coin #20!). Once you've got it and reached the top, bounce on the ball to get to the high hill. Head all the way to the right, and as soon as you can, drop into the water. You'll need to flutter quickly to the left to grab the Character Coin using Baby DK. After that, just head right, and you'll find the Goal Ring!
