Find the Great Bimaristan Gear Chest in AC Mirage

Alright, so you're after that sweet gear chest hidden away in The Great Bimaristan, huh? It's tucked up in the restricted areas of this big old building in the southwestern part of Abbasiyah. Don't worry too much about the guards, though – we can usually sneak around them.

Walkthrough

Start off on the eastern side of the Bimaristan, near an overhanging tent. You'll see some wooden pillars holding it up. Climb one of these pillars and get onto the tent fabric.

From the tent, you can start climbing the building's wall. Keep moving towards the south as you climb; this should keep you out of sight from any patrolling enemies. Your goal is to reach the restricted upper levels.

Once you're in the restricted area, whip out your Eagle Vision. Look for a window with a lattice on it – it'll glow red. You can break this lattice, but it doesn't actually lead to the chest.

If you want to grab some extra loot, you can break the lattice and hop through that window. From there, jump to the nearby chandelier, and then to another open window. This leads to a room with a resources chest. After that, head back out the way you came.

Now, make your way to the very top of the building. Circle around the outside until you find a window that has visible gaps in it. It's a bit tricky to spot, but it's there.

Through this window, you'll see a door with a lock on the other side. Use your Eagle Vision again to highlight that lock. Now, aim a Throwing Knife at it. You'll know you've got a good shot when the targeting reticule changes. Toss the knife to break the lock. You might get a better angle by standing on the railing near the window.

With the lock broken, you can now enter the room. Your final task is to move a shelf out of the way. Behind it, you'll find the Gear Chest! Open it up to get either the Zanj Uprising Dagger or one of its Upgrade Schematics.

Tips

Keep an eye on your surroundings and use Eagle Vision frequently to spot enemies and interactive elements.
Don't be afraid to use Throwing Knives on locks from a distance; it's a key mechanic for accessing some areas.
If you miss the shot at the lock, you can usually reposition yourself on the railing or nearby ledges to get a clearer aim.
