Discover the locations of all 10 Mysterious Shards in Assassin's Creed Mirage to unlock powerful gear like Milad's Outfit, The Samsaama dagger, and the Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar sword.
Walkthrough
- 1Find The Ancient Place: Travel east from Anbar to the Northern Oasis. Read Al Ghul's Letter (guarded by two NPCs) near the oasis. This will update 'The Calling' mission, revealing a secret chamber under the oasis. Use your falcon to scout the pool and find the underwater entrance. Swim through the chamber to reach the Isu chamber where you'll be prompted to collect 10 Mysterious Shards.
- 2Locate Mysterious Shards: There are two shards in each of the five major regions: Abbasiyah, Harbiyah, Karkh, Round City, and the Wilderness.
- 3Identify Shard Carriers: Shard carriers are marked with a gold icon representing a mysterious shard above their heads. This icon is visible using your falcon or Eagle Vision, and also appears on your compass and map when zoomed in.
- 4Obtain Shards: Approach the NPC and either pickpocket the shard or assassinate them. Be aware that they are alert and may attack if you get too close. Assassinating them first is often easier.
- 5Manage Notoriety: After obtaining a shard, you may need to reduce your notoriety by tearing down Wanted Posters or bribing a Munadi NPC before seeking the next one.
Shard Locations by Region:
- Abbasiyah: One shard in the northern part (Yasiriyah district) and one in the southern part (Haylanah district).
- Harbiyah: One shard in the southwest part (north of Abbasiyah) and one in the eastern part (Khuld district).
- Karkh: One shard in the northernmost part (Sharqiyah district). (The source text was cut off here, implying more locations for Karkh and the other regions.)
Tips
- Use your falcon or Eagle Vision frequently to spot the gold shard icons above NPCs.
- Assassinating the shard carriers is often more straightforward than pickpocketing due to their alertness.
- If you accumulate too much notoriety, use Wanted Posters or bribe Munadi NPCs to lower it, making it easier to continue collecting shards.
- 2 Mysterious Shards: The Samsaama dagger
- 3 Mysterious Shards: Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar sword
- 5 Mysterious Shards: Milad’s Outfit
- 10 Mysterious Shards: All three items
