Where to Find the Kitab Al-Zahif Lost Book

Alright, so you're looking for the Kitab Al-Zahif Lost Book in Assassin's Creed Mirage? No worries, it's pretty straightforward once you know where to go. You can grab this one anytime after you've finished the prologue and are free to roam Baghdad. We're heading to the southeastern part of the map for this. It's a bit of a trek, and there isn't a specific marker for the book itself, but you'll find it alongside another collectible – a Historical Site. So, it's a two-for-one deal, definitely worth the trip if you're aiming for all those trophies or achievements!

When you get to the ruins, make sure to snag the Seleucia-on-the-Trigris Historical Site first since you're already there. Right near it, you'll notice some weak ground that needs breaking. For this, you'll need an explosive jar. Look off to the side for a ladder; climb it, and at the base, you'll see two large explosive jars. You can't move those, unfortunately. So, head back up the ladder to find two smaller jars you can actually pick up and use. There's also a Resource Chest up there, by the way.

You can toss an explosive pot from this higher spot to hit the weakened ground, but there's an even easier spot if you want to be sure. Stick close to the wall and hop across the different sections of it. When you reach a part where you feel like you're close enough, aim your throw carefully and let it fly. If you happen to miss the weakened ground, no biggie – just double back, grab another explosive pot, and try again. Once the fire dies down, you can finally loot the Kitab al-Zahif.

After you've got your hands on the Kitab al-Zahif, you'll want to take it to Al-Jahiz. He's chilling at the House of Wisdom, which is located on the western side of Abbasiyah, in the Yasiriyah district. Hand over the book, and he'll reward you with the Monstrous Talisman – a nice little nod to Cthulhu fans. Oh, and a heads-up: you don't need to bring him any other Lost Books first, so you can totally do this as soon as you're out and about in the open world.
