If you are starting this mission immediately after freeing Ali ibn Muhammad from the Damascus Great Prison, you must first lower your notoriety. You can do this by tearing down Wanted Posters or paying a Munadi NPC.

Once your notoriety is sufficiently decreased, find Ali ibn Muhammad with his rebel troops at a watermill on the northern outskirts of Baghdad. Speak with him to trigger a cutscene and begin the mission.

Roshan will appear and lead you to the Caravanserai, located in the desert northwest of Baghdad.

Infiltrate the Caravanserai by climbing over its eastern walls using boxes and wooden beams to reach the ramparts. Be prepared to assassinate guards on the ramparts and in the main square.

Use your bird or Eagle Vision to scout the area and find a civilian worker on the northeast side of the Caravanserai. Speak with them to learn about the deed that binds them to Mas’ood (Al-Ghul).
