Master the 'Return to the Clock Tower' mission in Batman: Arkham Knight. Learn stealth tactics, enemy takedowns, and how to disable Scarecrow's servers.

Alright, let's get back to the Clock Tower. Your main objective here is to stop Scarecrow's militia from messing with the servers. As soon as you exit the GCPD, hop in the Batmobile and follow the GPS route. When you get there, you'll see the place is crawling with soldiers.

Predator Section: Clock Tower Infiltration

This is a big one – you've got 12 enemies to take down. First things first, let's get eyes on the situation. Head up to the rooftops surrounding the Clock Tower. You'll want to take out the two snipers posted on the Northwest and Northeast sides. They've got a clear view of everything happening below, so they're your top priority.

Once those snipers are dealt with, focus on the base of the Clock Tower. You'll find a Medic, nine Soldiers, a Boa Drone, and a Minigunner down there. They're patrolling the balconies and the construction area to the north. The good news is that this time, the interior of the Clock Tower is also accessible, giving you three floors to work with.

You've got a lot of environmental advantages to use here:

  • The large underground ventilation area on the north side of the Clock Tower.
  • Ventilation tunnels throughout all three interior floors, covering most of the area. There are also chutes connecting the levels, letting you move between floors unseen.
  • Vantage points around the Clock Tower for some sweet inverted takedowns.
  • The girders above the walkways on the north side.
  • Destructible walls in the scaffolding/construction zone.
  • Plenty of corners in the construction area for quick corner takedowns.

After you've dealt with the snipers, you can drop down to the girder behind the soldier controlling the Boa Drone. You can download his codes from there, but don't worry about him just yet. Your main goal is to track down and take out the Medic when he's isolated. Once the Medic is down, you can use the Boa Drone to your advantage against the other enemies. Then, it's time for your usual stealth takedowns.

A solid tactic is to use the underground vents to lure some Soldiers over, then hit them with a Fear Multi-Takedown to take out up to three at once when they investigate. Remember to leave the Minigunner for last. If he starts coming your way, just disengage and focus on another area until he moves off.

Once all the enemies are down, the objectives will update. You'll need to enter the lower levels of the Clock Tower and make your way up to the third floor. Keep an eye out for any Sentry Drones the Soldiers might have deployed during the fight. When it's clear, head over to the target computer and shut it down. After a short conversation, the objective will be complete. The game will then prompt you to select your next mission; choose the 'City of Fear' main quest to continue the campaign.
