To craft armor in Black Myth: Wukong, you’ll need to progress the story until you reach the Guanyin Temple Shrine in the Forest of Wolves in Chapter 1. Interact with the Shrine there, and you’ll have the option to Craft Armor. From there, craft the piece of armor you want to craft, and provided you have the necessary money (Will), and crafting materials, you’ll be able to craft it. More recipes are unlocked upon ending a Chapter, defeating a boss, or completing a quest.
Pilgrim’s Set
The Pilgrim’s Set is the first armor set you’ll obtain after the starting set. Acquired by reaching the Guanyin Temple Shrine in the Forest of Wolves area in Chapter 1. The Rarity of this set is Uncommon.

Folk Opera Set
The Folk Opera is obtained by purchasing the Deluxe Edition of Black Myth: Wukong. You can obtain the set by claiming the Trailblazer’s Gift at a Shrine; the earliest shrine you can claim it from is ‘Front Hills’, but any will do.

Serpentscale Set
The Serpentscale Set can be crafted after defeating the Whiteclad Noble, who can be found by following the path down from the Marsh of White Mist Shrine in Bamboo Grove in Chapter 1. The Rarity of this set is Uncommon.

Bronze Set
The Bronze Set can be crafted after defeating the Elder Jinchi, who can be found at the end of the Secret Area: Ancient Guanyin Temple in Chapter 1. You must complete the Three Bells Quest to gain access to the secret area. Follow our Three Bells Walkthrough on how you can complete the area. The Rarity of this set is Rare.
