Walkthrough
- 1After the prologue, you'll be in Black Wind Mountain. Defeat the two initial enemies and proceed up the stairs, then turn left at the fork to find a chest with Tiny Piece of Gold.
- 2Interact with the Front Hills Shrine nearby to rest. Continue forward to reach the Forest of Wolves.
- 3In the Forest of Wolves, go left to interact with a head statue and obtain a Skandha of Form.
- 4Head right and defeat the Bullguard by waiting for its attacks and striking during its rest periods.
- 5After the Bullguard, go up the slope and rest at the first mediate spot on the right.
- 6Pass through the small gap in the wall opposite to find the Outside the Forest Shrine.
- 7In the first area, defeat the Guangzhi and interact with the bell behind it.
- 8At the next fork, go left to open a chest containing an Evil Repelling Medicament and more Tiny Piece of Gold.
- 9Cross the bridge and go through the archway to fight Guangzhi. After defeating it, pick up the staff to get the Red Tides Spell and interact with the bell at the back.
- 10Return to the bridge area, go left, and defeat the Wandering Wight to obtain the Cats Eyes Bead Curio. Follow the path down to Guanyin Temple.
- 11In Guanyin Temple, interact with the shrine and open the chest in the back left for Tiny Piece of Gold.
- 12Head up the stairs and defeat the mandatory boss, Lingxuzi.
- 13After defeating Lingxuzi, equip the Grey Wolf Mask. Go up the stairs and find a pot to the left containing a Celestial Jade Lotus Pill.
- 14Rest at the Back Hills Shrine. Go down the stairs and enter the cave to start the Horse Guai Quest.
- 15Continue along the path until you reach the Snake Trail Shrine. To the right of the path, find a lake, drop down, and defeat the Baw-Li-Guhh-Lange for its spirit.
- 16Enter the large open area and go through the gap in the back left corner. Defeat Guangmou and interact with the bell at the back.
- 17Continue onwards until you find the Marsh of the White Mist Shrine.
- 18Head in the opposite direction of the shrine and interact with the tree to get Luojia Fragrant Vines.
- 19Go down the slope and speak with Shen Monkey in the cave to upgrade your gourd.
- 20Head further down the slope and defeat the Whiteclad Noble.
- 21Follow the path to the left and interact with the final bell to be transported to the Ancient Guanyin Temple.
- 22In the Ancient Guanyin Temple, head up the stairs and open the three chests to the right of the shrine for Guanyin Prayer Beads and Stone Spirits.
- 23Enter the room and defeat the Elder Jinchi Boss.
- 24Return to the main area, enter the Black Wind Cave, and head left to find a Celestial Taiyi Pill and a meditation point.
- 25Go right and defeat the Black Wind King.
- 26Follow the path up and defeat the Black Bear Guai to conclude Chapter 1.
Tips
- For the Bullguard, wait out its attacks from a distance and strike when it rests.
- The Guangzhi can be defeated by waiting out its attacks and striking when it pauses.
- When fighting Lingxuzi, equip the Grey Wolf Mask after the battle.
