Discover all the secret bonus rooms and areas in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, including Weston's Trading Post, The Weapon Depot, and more. Learn how to maximize your rewards!

As before, on random occasions you will be treated to a bonus room after completing a level and choosing an exit. This section will briefly discuss the various types of bonus rooms and what is contained in them. One noticeable change to the bonus rooms in this game is that there is now a time limit displayed at the top of the screen. You have a limited amount of time to gather the goodies and exit the room before the next true round starts. In general, the time limit is 60 seconds.

NOTE: Just to get this out of the way... THERE IS NO WAY TO GUARANTEE FINDING A BONUS ROOM.

Weston's Trading Post

Reminiscent of an old western trading post or general store, this room contains mostly auxiliary defensive weapons such as boxing gloves, saws, wunderwaffles, barrels, magnets, etc. There are also some nukes and speed boosts to be found in the corners of the store, so grab those as well if you need the armory. You will also find a present box in a corner that requires a key to open, but it always contains 2 lives.

Fun Fact - This bonus room is named after the son of a prominent Dead Ops Arcade player (it's not me, nice try.)

NOTE: If playing with a team, go for the magnet immediately and it will pull the nukes and lightning bolts straight to you.

The Weapon Depot

As you would expect, this place is a motherlode of weapons. Displayed on the tables are multiple numbers of various weapon types. You might think this is for multiple players to take one of each. While that is partially true, the bigger reason is to powerup the weapons to purple power. Whatever weapon you choose to take, just be sure to take as many as you need to get maximum gun power.

NOTE: There are two nukes hidden in the top left corner of this room behind the wall where the death machines are. Pick them up before choosing your weapon.

The Kaboom Room

If you recall the Bomb Storage Locker from DOA2, this is the equivalent of that. You will first find this level in the Wild, guarded by a strong, elite zombie type from Black Ops 4. This room is full of bombs on all sides of the room. Pick up as many as you need and then exit the room.

NOTE: This bonus room is only found in The Wild at first. Once you access it through The Wild, it will become a recurring bonus room for the rest of the game.

The Chicken Nest

This is a returning bonus room from DOA2. You have a bunch of chicken eggs that beckon to you. Once the timer ticks down to 45 seconds, the eggs will start to hatch and you will receive gems, armory, chickens, etc.

NOTE:Whatever you do, DONT LEAVE THE ROOM BEFORE THE EGGS HAVE HATCHED! This is a serious mistake and you will cost yourself quite a bit of goodies.

Poppy's Pirate Plunder

This room is most akin to the traditional treasure room you are used to seeing from DOA1 and DOA2. Tons of treasure and gems on the ground. If possible, try to pickup the gems first to increase your multiplier and then the treasure. You will also notice that there is a large treasure chest in the middle of the room which can only be opened by using a key...

The War Store

This is DOA3's version of the Hangar from DOA2. You have your choice of vehicles including the tank, Hind chopper, and siegebot mech. Pick your vehicle of choice and head for the exit.

NOTE: You also have 4 nukes to pickup in this room (2 on either side).

A Cavernous Cellar

Well, this is different... Unlike the other bonus rooms, this is more of an actual level. On top of which zombies actually come after you here! Another major difference is that you have a full 10 minutes to complete the zone instead just 1 minute. This area is vast with plenty of treasure, armory, keys, and other items.

NOTE: You can quick exit this area by taking the left door. The door to the right takes you deeper into the cellar.

Abandoned Temple

First encountered in your first excursion into The Wild, this bonus area gives you a 3 minute time limit. Immediately at the start of the level to the south of where you spawn, there are multiple lightning bolts. You will find other various treasure as well as a couple locked key chests with massive treasure, gems, and an occasional key inside. If you are playing with multiple players, you can attempt another unique trick here. By stepping on the switched indicated by the yellow box above, you will be presented with a choice of two different doors (marked with arrows above) to exit the level. One presents "suffering" in the form of STEALING YOUR ARMORY. You will temporarily receive a speed decrease, lose most of your armory, and more importantly, your keys! The other door grants the player a very generous "fortune." You could get some additional lives, nukes or speed boosts! The reward is completely random.

NOTE: If you have any keys in your possession, DO NOT TAKE THE GAMBLE!

Dark Crypt

Another mini-dungeon bonus room of sorts. They are typically found inside one of the 4 Deadly Dungeons, but one is also located in The Wild. As such you have 3 minutes to gather the goods and escape. A lot of stuff locked away in chests and behind some steel doors. If you have excess keys or you are going for the 7x multiplier calling card, feel free to use a couple to unlock the chests as the amount of treasure inside can basically give you a free life or two depending on your multiplier!

NOTE: Recent changes were made to include rare key spawns in these rooms. Be on the lookout for them if you find a Dark Crypt
