  2. 2
Familiarize yourself with the six possible Fates, as detailed by David King.

The Different Fates:

Fate of Firepower:

  • The Death Machine becomes your base weapon.
  • Weapons you pick up will start as Red on the HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap) (Heads-Up Display).
  • Level 1 (gray) weapons decay slower than normal.

Fate of Friendship:

  • You are granted a permanent golden chicken sidekick.
  • Chickens you pick up last twice as long.
  • The golden chicken periodically lays golden eggs that contain extra lives.
  • After round 64, the golden chicken will have permanently upgraded weaponry.

Fate of Fortune:

  • The minimum score multiplier is x2.
  • Most pickups last significantly longer (80%).
  • Exclusions include: Arcade Machine, Boots, Umbrella, Monkey Bomb, Skeleton Army, and Vortex.

Fate of Furious Feet:

  • You are granted a permanent movement speed upgrade.
  • At the start of each round, you are given a minimum of 2 boosts.
  • You can now carry up to 10 boosts.

Fate of Divine Shield:

  • You get a 60% time bonus on any shield item (Barrels, Boxing Gloves, Sawblade).
  • You are granted one shield item at the start of each round.
  • You get a minimum of 2 nukes to start the round.
  • You can now carry up to 10 nukes.
  • After respawning (returning to the game after being eliminated), you receive another shield item.
  • After round 64, if the Shield player picks up a nuke, then ALL players receive a nuke.

Fate of the Divine Chalice:

  • Your revive timer is reduced from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.
  • Your respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) timer after taking a death is reduced from 5 seconds to 3 seconds.
  • You have a 3x revive effect on downed players.
  • When the Chalice player donates a life, both that player and the recipient of the donated life will get rewards.
  • Your heal rate over time increases from 3hp/sec to 5hp/sec.
  • You will respawn from death with a temporary buff that allows for extra hits before dying.
  • You earn points 25% faster than normal.
  • 150k points are needed for an extra life rather than 200k.
  • You have a maximum of 10 lives.
