The Throneroom (57-60)

Alright, so you've made it to The Throneroom (levels 57-60), and yeah, it's definitely starting to ramp up the difficulty. You'll notice this area has a couple of distinct sections. First, there's a bridge area that looks a lot like the China Town levels from Dead Ops Arcade 2. Then, further on, you've got a more open space with a huge bear rug and a massive throne – plenty of room to move around, which you'll need.

The biggest threat here, besides the usual zombie onslaught, is the fireballs. They're constantly firing from four towers and even from the mouth of that giant bear rug. While they won't instantly kill you, getting hit repeatedly will definitely put you in a bad spot. You've got to juggle fighting zombies and dodging these fiery projectiles.

Level Strategy

If you're playing with a squad, that China Town-esque bridge area can be a fantastic spot for some classic bottleneck camping. Funneling all the zombies into that narrow passage is a solid strategy if your teammates have your back. Plus, it helps you avoid most of the fireballs. However, if you're going solo, I'd steer clear of that. You really need to keep moving to avoid getting roasted by those fireballs. Also, a heads-up: don't just stand right in front of the big bear rug. There's a path you can slide down from the throne room into the bridged area, which is a good escape route, but be mindful of the fire as you make your descent.

As always, grab every power-up you can find, especially any vehicles. They offer some much-needed protection from both the zombies and the fireballs.

Once you clear this level, get ready, because you'll be heading into The Wild one last time before the final stretch of the game.
