Castle Moat (49-52)

The most prominent feature is the stairs; you can climb up the left or right sides, but not the other side.

Be aware that if you drop down the straight side from the top of the stairs, you cannot climb back up, which can create a deathtrap.

There is a flat area with a river to cross.

A challenge round called "Dead Drop" occurs in this arena.

Warden zombies fall from the sky; their spawn points are indicated by a red targeting reticle (a visual indicator on your HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap), or Heads-Up Display).

Warden zombies will not pursue you at full speed unless you fire at them first.

Arrows on the level map indicate where you can jump down from the steps to quickly evade swarms or lead zombies to you.

For the "Dead Drop" challenge round, only shoot the warden zombies when they are directly next to you to avoid unnecessary chaos.

If playing solo, avoid the stairs unless you have a large zombie train and are confident no more are coming; do not camp on the stairs as you will be attacked from the rear.

If playing with a team of 3-4 players, you can camp at the designated point on the stairs for an easier victory, but remain vigilant for any crawler zombies (zombies that cannot stand up) or wardens that might get past your defense.

Do not drop down to the bottom for loot pickups unless it is for essential items like extra lives or critical armory upgrades.
