Walkthrough
- 1From the start, plan your dungeon layout. Carve out a small section for your Warlocks and consider making at least two separate Lairs due to potential Lair rivals like Mistress/Samurai and Bile Demon/Skeleton. Reserve the western area for a Treasure Room.
- 2Fortify the wall north of the Gems to prevent the Blue Keeper from accessing them. Dig out the topmost row of gold tiles and have your Imps fortify the northern wall. Construct a Treasure Room here.
- 3Place your Level 4 Warlocks' Library in a dead-end corner, fortified, to protect Imps from Fireball/Meteor attacks. A separate room south of your dungeon Heart should suffice.
- 4Excavate the western section to find a Bile Demon (Level 5) west of the water pool and 5x Skeletons (Level 3) along with an Increase Level in the southwestern corner. Place the Bile Demon in a separate Lair.
- 5Mine along the bottom rocks to the right to find a second Increase Level and your only Mistress (Level 5). Put all creatures in a large Training Room.
- 6Continue along the northern rocks until you hit water. Build a bridge and fortify the northern wall. You can dig out a few tiles to place Boulder/Lightning traps.
- 7To lock up the Green Keeper, research "Heal." Dig north into the water at point '4', dropping in the Level 6 Mistress and Bile Demon, along with Skeletons, then drop Warlocks so they are not primary targets.
Tips
- The map contains 11x Skeleton (Level 3), 1x Dark Mistress (Level 5), 1x Bile Demon (Level 5), 1x Vampire (Level 4), and 1x Vampire (Level 5).
- Dungeon specials include 2x Increase Level and 2x Ressurrect Creature.
- The Graveyard can be found in neutral rooms. The Blue Keeper is the only one who can make a Graveyard, but you can get a free one on the map when you reach the Vampires, though it is guarded by the group at point '7'.
- All three colored adversary Keepers are active on this map. Each Keeper, including yourself, has a quarter of the map. Opponents start with 4x Mistress (Level 10), while you start with 4x Warlock (Level 4).
- Portals are useless as your creature limit is 4, and you can only attract Warlocks.
- Green and Yellow have easy access to Gems, but Blue has a harder time. Seal off the walls north of the single full Gem tile to secure your funding and prevent Blue from getting infinite funds.
- Be aware that the DD AI can sell traps, making it difficult to tire them out. Enemy forces will likely be stronger than yours initially, not including their starting Mistresses.
- Defeating any of the 3 Keepers grants access to the Torture chamber.
- Before attacking powerful heroes from groups 5, 6, and 7, obtain a prison. You can keep them fed until you get a Torture room from another Keeper to convert them.
- Do not dig north directly from your Heart, as you will encounter powerful Monks.
- The area west of your Heart should be reserved for Treasure rooms.
- Research and build the Library in a dead-end, fortified corner to protect Imps from attacks.
- Mine along the impenetrable rock at the bottom of the map to the right to find a second Increase Level and your only Mistress (Level 5).
- You can place Boulder/Lightning traps by digging out one or two tiles north of the water.
- The pond at point '4' contains more than a few enemies.
