Learn about the Spider trait in Core Keeper, including its prisoner freezing behavior and where it performs best.

Spiders are not very common in the single-player mode of Core Keeper. They first appear in Flowerhat during missions and can be attracted to a few other levels later on. Spiders naturally hunt down Flies, and they will do so in the game if both creatures inhabit the same lair. In such a scenario, you should remove the Fly, as it is inferior to the Spider in every way except for its speed.

Spiders can perform better than average in Workshops, but they do not have many other tasks where they truly excel.
