Walkthrough for Crysis 2 Part 31: Infiltrate Jacob Hargreaves' stronghold, rescue him, and enhance your Nanosuit. Includes tactical options and enemy encounters.
Walkthrough
- 1Follow Tara to the elevator.
- 2Upon exiting, you'll be given tactical options: Flank, Explore, or Stealth.
- 3Select “Flank.” Cloak and bypass the Cell in the elevated security room on your left.
- 4Kill the sentry in the storage room and grab the Grendel.
- 5Eliminate the six Cell in the security room area, watching for flanking enemies.
- 6Head up the stairs, killing any Cell. Grab the “Dog Tag” near the weapons crate at the “Explore” option.
- 7Go up to the next level and snipe the lone Cell on the upper balcony.
- 8Select “Stealth.” Make your way through the museum-like room, avoiding roving Cell.
- 9Take down the HMG gunner safeguarding the central hallway.
- 10Turn right from the emplacement, right again, and then left into a long hallway leading to Jacob Hargreaves' lair. Kill any Cell lingering there.
- 11Enter Hargreaves’ abode. He is in a suspended state, communicating via hologram.
- 12Take the X-43 Mike from a container near Hargreave’s body.
- 13Grab the “New York Souvenir” from the desk.
- 14Follow the prompts to inject yourself with the syringe to enhance the suit.
- 15The Ceph attack the facility. Go up the staircase to your right.
- 16After bookshelves roll back, continue up the stairwell and through the corridor.
- 17Power kick the obstruction from the doorway.
- 18Download the “E-Mail” on the floor near the gate.
- 19Use the control pad to open the gate. Avoid the electrical arcing on the floor by using pallets, planking, piping, and AC ductwork.
- 20Open the gate and continue along the passage.
- 21Grab the M20 14 Gauss Sniper Rifle against the wall. Keep the X-43 Mike. Grab ammo and grenades.
- 22You'll have new tactical options: Descend or Flank.
- 23Choose “Descend.” Jump to the AC units below, then make an armored jump to the roof below.
- 24Move right on the walkway and acquire the eight rounds from the M20 14 Gauss lying on the grating.
- 25Use the M20 14 Gauss to eliminate the Ceph below.
- 26Descend near the trailer, grab the Catalyst, and go left, using the “Flank” option, into the grassy area, staying behind the wall.
- 27Use the M20 14 Gauss to eliminate the small group of Ceph there for their Catalyst. Snipe the Ceph on the overlook.
- 28Move toward the big truck ahead while cloaked. Take out a few Ceph near the truck but avoid a full firefight.
- 29Cloak and move forward, bearing right at the truck. Stay near the building and its low hedges.
- 30When the Devastator appears, jump the barrier into the broad entry of the Hargreave-Rasch building. Grab an HMG and use it on the Devastator if you want a challenge or need Catalyst.
- 31If you battled the Ceph, grab a fresh HMG and go up the two stairwells. Make a left, another left, and enter the long winding corridor.
- 32Call the elevator and pick up your HMG. You'll have new tactical options: Observe, Neutralize, or Stealth.
- 33The dead soldier near the elevator has an M20 14 Gauss Sniper Rifle. Take its ammo.
- 34Shoot out the windows with the HMG, drop it, and begin sniping with the M20 14 Gauss.
