After the initial area, grab the Catalyst and a fresh HMG from the barrier mount.

Begin crossing the battleground, collecting Catalyst and watching for straggling Ceph.

Crouch under the partially opened doorway and turn left for tactical options.

- Snipe: Marks a platform defended by Marines, drawing heavy Ceph attention including two Devastators.

Select “Flank” and move through the greenery on the right, using the ivy-covered wall for cover until its end, then hurry to the waypoint.

Avoid: Select “Avoid” to reach the elevator using stealth.

Join the battle: Select “Flank” to engage the enemy with the Marines.

NON-STEALTH APPROACH:

STEALTH APPROACH:

Select “Avoid” and with a fully charged meter, cloak and walk toward the waypoint.

Take the elevator and pick up the HMG.

Exit onto the broken roadway. You will encounter Ceph and Cell on the bridge. Tactical options are available.

Tactical Options:
- Ascend: Go up the rubble onto the upper roadway.

Avoid: Drop onto the lower roadway to bypass two Devastators on the upper road.

Neutralize: A Ceph will snipe or drop down after you pass the Devastators.

Select “Ascend” and make your way onto the upper roadway, near the broken gray trailer.

When the two Devastators appear, target them to draw them towards you, then cloak to mask your position.

Select “Avoid” and jump down through the cratered upper roadway to the debris on the lower road, then jump out on the far side to bypass them.

Continue ahead after the Devastators; opposition will lighten.

A Ceph will snipe from the bridge structure. Jump barriers and weave through the broken roadway.

Chapter 18: Out Of The Ashes

After Tara and Gould clam up, make your way to them and jump to get up the riverbank. You will only have an M12 Nova.

Grab the Marshall and the X-43 Mike.

Before boarding the tank, sprint toward the gate ahead of the vehicles and grab the “Car Key” from the broken piece of pavement to the right, just beyond the three yellow barrels.
