Welcome to the second part of our walkthrough for Death Howl. After defeating Cantharsis, the Great Spirit, Ro must journey to the Realm of Piercing Winds to continue her quest to save her son. This realm is split into three zones: The Breathing Chasm, The Hidden Vale, and The Glacial Maw. You can enter through either The Breathing Chasm or The Hidden Vale, both accessible from The Meadows of Delusions.
Walkthrough
- 1The Breathing Chasm:
- Activate the first Sacred Grove in the northeast to reveal the map.
- 2Complete the 'Reap or Weep' side quest by retrieving the creature's lost eyes from a hidden cave northwest of the Sacred Grove.
- 3Complete the 'Two-Headed Spear' hidden side quest by finding two Spear Head quest cards and combining them in battle, then interacting with an inscription rock. This rewards 3 Teardrop upgrade points.
- Enter from the southwest Sacred Grove of The Breathing Chasm.
- Activate the first Sacred Grove to reveal the map.
- Complete 'The Laughing Face of Death' side quest by repeatedly resting at the Sacred Grove and interacting with the revived Spirit.
- Explore the bottom part of The Hidden Vale.
- Obtain the 'Cone Realmless Card' (Secret).
- Obtain the 'Frozen Driftwood Totem' (Secret).
- Activate the first Sacred Grove to reveal the map.
- Obtain the 'A Sight to Behold Realmless Card' (Secret).
Tips
- Grind Death Howl before entering the zone to unlock cards and Teardrop upgrades.
- If struggling with the 'Reap or Weep' side quest ambush, discard the quest card and return later when stronger.
