Walkthrough
- 1During the Gargoyle Gate boss fight, you will have NPC (non-player character) knight allies who will bring out a cannon.
- 2Cannonballs are dropped by elite goblins, such as goblin mages and red caps.
- 3Kill these elite goblins to obtain cannonballs.
- 4Grab a cannonball and attack the cannon with it to load it.
- 5Grab a nearby torch.
- 6Attack the loaded cannon with the torch to launch it, dealing significant damage to the gate.
Tips
- Throughout the fight, orcs and goblins will continuously spawn. You can either ignore them to focus on damaging the gate with the cannon or kill them while primarily damaging the gate with the cannon.
- The Gargoyle Gate has several attacks:
- Slam: Whenever the gate is up, it will slam down, damaging anyone nearby.
- Flame: The gate will open its mouth and shoot a large linear flame. Stay on a different plane than the gate when it opens its mouth to avoid this highly damaging attack.
- Spread Fire: Sometimes when it opens its mouth, it will spread fire nearby. This attack is somewhat damaging, so do not be near the gate when it opens its mouth.
- Fireballs from Sky: Fireballs will fall from the sky throughout the fight. Stay out of the marked areas on the ground that indicate an incoming fireball.
