Alright, so you've made it to the Ghost Ship Cove and it's time to face the Kraken. This fight can seem overwhelming at first, but once you know its moves, it's totally manageable. Let's break it down.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The Kraken cannot be damaged while its tentacles are active.

Phases:

1. Tentacle Attacks: The Kraken will use its tentacles for slams. These are pretty easy to avoid if you're paying attention. While the tentacles are up, you also need to watch out for Flood and Poison Line.
2. Flood: This is the Kraken's attempt to flood the entire area. Waves will move from right to left each time a pillar is broken. Your best bet is to jump or evade to avoid taking damage.
3. Poison Line: The Kraken launches a vertical line of poison that lingers for a bit. Just make sure you're not standing in it.
4. Summon: When both tentacles go down, the Kraken will summon two Lizardmen from the left side of the arena. You have a choice here: you can either ignore them and focus on attacking the Kraken, or take them out first. It really depends on how much pressure you're feeling from the boss.
5. Poison Gas: The Kraken will spew poison gas directly in front of it. This attack does a ton of damage, so when you see it coming, back off immediately.
6. Water Jet: The Kraken fires a burst of water. This is another attack you'll want to evade through.
7. Time Limit: If you take too long, the entire place will flood, and you'll be forced to escape. This is actually the *only* way to complete the quest "Living Fossil," so if that's your goal, you'll want to focus on survival rather than rushing the boss down.

Strategy:

• Prioritize dodging. The Kraken's attacks, especially the Poison Gas and Flood, can deal massive damage.
• Don't get greedy. It's better to land a few safe hits than to risk taking heavy damage trying to squeeze in one more attack.
• Deal with the Lizardmen if they're overwhelming you, but remember the Kraken is the main threat.
