Quest: Echoes of the Past

Begin EverQuest II's Kunark Ascending storyline with the 'Echoes of the Past' quest. Investigate ancient Iksar ruins in the Fens of Nathsar.

This quest serves as your introduction to the Kunark Ascending storyline. It typically begins in the city of Gorowyn or a major hub in the Timorous Deep, where you'll be approached by an Iksar scholar or a concerned citizen regarding strange occurrences in Kunark.

Objectives:

1. Investigate Ancient Ruins: Travel to the Fens of Nathsar and locate specific ancient Iksar ruins that have recently become active.
2. Collect Relic Fragments: Defeat Sarnak scouts and excavators in the ruins to gather fragments of ancient Sarnak relics. These fragments often contain cryptic inscriptions.
3. Decipher the Writings: Bring the fragments to an Iksar Loremaster who can decipher the ancient Sarnak language, revealing their plans for resurgence.
4. Report to the Iksar Council: Present your findings to the Iksar Council in Gorowyn, warning them of the impending Sarnak threat.
