Alright, so you want to push further into Albion? To do that, you'll need to get through Darkwood. But before you can even step foot in there, there's a mandatory quest you've gotta wrap up first.

Mandatory Quest 7: Trader Escort Quest

• Location: Greatwood Caves
• Reward: 2000 Gold, 500 Renown, Trader's Feather Trophy

Before you head out, you can also take on some optional boasts for extra rewards. Here's the rundown:

• No Protection: Do the whole quest wearing no armor. Wager: 200 Gold, Reward: 400 Gold.
• Without A Scratch: Don't take any damage. Wager: 200 Gold, Reward: 1000 Gold.
• Protect Traders: Make sure all the traders survive. Wager: 100 Gold, Reward: 400 Gold.

First things first, head to the Heroes' Guild and grab this Quest Card. Once you've accepted it, make your way to the entrance of Darkwood Entrance, located in the Greatwood Caves. You'll find two traders waiting for you there. Your main job is to escort them through the area safely. If they bite the dust, you fail the quest, so keep them alive!

As you start moving, a third trader is going to pop up and ask to join your group. Here's the catch: he's been attacked by a Balverine, and there's a chance he's turned into a were-Balverine himself. If you let him tag along, you'll get a bonus for being charitable (good alignment). If you tell him to scram, you'll get an evil bonus instead. Your call!

No matter what you decide about the third trader, keep moving towards the next area. Keep an eye out, because you'll spot a path veering off the main route. If you take it, you'll find a chest containing a Resurrection Phil – super handy for tough spots. Now, here's a crucial tip: before you enter the next zone, ditch your traders. Seriously, leave them behind. If they follow you into the next area, they're toast thanks to the Balverines waiting there. You've been warned!
