Kyrati Films: Survival Quests

Conquer Far Cry 4's Kyrati Films: Survival Quests! Learn how to handle timed races, vehicle switches, and beat your best times for XP rewards.

Alright, so you've been playing Far Cry 4 for a bit and are ready to spice things up with some side activities. Once you've made some progress in the main story, you'll get a heads-up about meeting Sharma Salsa in Banapur. Doing this unlocks two types of 'Kyrati Films' activities: Racing and Survival. The Survival ones are a bit different from the pure Racing ones.

Instead of just an overall timer, these Survival Quests have a countdown. Every checkpoint you hit adds more time to the clock, which is super handy. The other big twist? You'll actually have to switch vehicles mid-race. Sometimes you'll do it once, other times twice. These missions are repeatable, but you won't earn more money after the first go. However, if you manage to beat your own best time, you'll still get that sweet gold payout again.

There's also a global leaderboard if you're feeling competitive and want to see how you stack up against players worldwide. You'll find a total of nine races, and they all unlock as you liberate outposts. The only real bonuses you get from these are XP.

Heads up: You'll absolutely need to switch vehicles while you're racing, so make sure you're ready to do it fast!
