Alright, let's talk about how this whole thing wraps up in Far Cry 4. There are a few different ways your story can end, and some of them are pretty wild. We'll go through the secret ending, the ways you can take down Pagan Min, and even an ending where he survives. It all comes down to some key decisions you make, especially near the end of the game after completing the Ashes to Ashes mission.

Secret Ending: The Patient Approach

This one's a bit of a curveball and you can only get it right at the very start of the game. When you first meet Pagan Min and Paul De Pleur, Pagan tells you to just sit tight and wait for him. Most players will bail and get the ball rolling on the main campaign, but if you're feeling patient – and I mean *really* patient – stick around. If you wait for about 13 to 15 minutes, Pagan will actually return. Instead of leaving you hanging, he'll take you with him to Lakshmana. It's a pretty unique way to kick things off!

Kill Pagan 1: The Direct Approach

After you finish the mission Ashes to Ashes, you'll finally confront Pagan Min at his palace. There's a scene where you'll have a gun pointed right at his head. If you pull the trigger here, that's it – Pagan's dead, and the credits will roll immediately. It's a pretty straightforward, no-nonsense way to finish the game.

Kill Pagan 2: The Helicopter Takedown

This ending also kicks off after completing Ashes to Ashes. You'll be in that same confrontation with Pagan at his palace, gun to his head. This time, however, don't shoot. Wait a bit, and Ajay will lower the gun. Pagan will then have a brief chat with you and show you to Lakshmana. Once you exit the room, Pagan hops into a helicopter. If you've got an RPG or a grenade launcher handy, this is your chance! Shoot down his helicopter to get this ending. It's a bit more action-packed than just shooting him point-blank.

Pagan Lives: The Merciful (or Cautious) Exit

This ending follows the same path as 'Kill Pagan 2' right up until Pagan gets into his helicopter. After completing Ashes to Ashes, you confront Pagan, have the conversation, and he shows you Lakshmana. When he takes off in his helicopter, just let him go. Don't shoot him down. By letting him escape, you'll get this ending where Pagan Min survives and continues to reign. It's an interesting choice if you're not quite ready to see him go.

The King Is Dead (Achievement)

Just a heads-up, there's an achievement called 'The King Is Dead' that you'll unlock by deciding Pagan Min's fate in the campaign. So, no matter which of the endings where you kill him you choose, you'll snag that achievement.
