Cease and Desist (S)

Guide to completing the 'Cease and Desist (S)' mission in Far Cry 4. Learn how to disarm explosives, deal with reinforcements, and secure Jalendu Temple.

Alright, so you've got the mission 'Cease and Desist (S)' in Far Cry 4. Sabal wants to secure Jalendu Temple so he can finish his ceremony and make Bhadra the Tarun Matara. When you get close to the temple, Sabal will let you know Pagan's goons have planted explosives, and he needs you to disarm them.

Here's the kicker: if you get spotted at any point, they'll activate a timer, and you'll only have four minutes to disarm both bombs. There are a lot of enemies on the island, so staying undetected is going to be tough. One bomb is upstairs, and the other is underground, where you'll face more enemies, including a nasty Heavy Flamer. Keep an eye out for two snipers on the upper floor – take them out first before you head up there. Honestly, it doesn't really matter which bomb you tackle first, as neither is in a particularly tricky spot.

Once both bombs are disarmed, Sabal will warn you that more enemies are on their way to try and retake the temple. Your best bet to fend them off is to head to the top floor. You'll find two mounted guns there: a machine gun and a grenade launcher. You'll face three waves of enemies, and since you're on an island, expect them to come by sea and air.

The first wave comes from the west, and it's just boats. If you can take out the enemies before they even land, you'll be in great shape. The second wave also comes from the east, and again, it's just boats. The final wave, coming from the west once more, will have two helicopters mixed in with the boats. Make sure you take those choppers down quickly! The mission wraps up once all the reinforcements are dealt with.
