Tule - Zok is Home

Alright, we're back in Tule! Before we do anything else, it's a good idea to hit up the Inn if you need to rest up, and then swing by the shop for any supplies. If you've got White or Black Mages in your party, now's a great time to pick up any essential spells you might have missed. Don't forget about THUNDER! – you only need one copy of any spell, no matter how many mages you have. Stocking up on Potions is always a good idea too.

Now, Zok is back home, so let's head over to his place. When you get there, he'll tell you he's lost the key we need to open the Canal. Bummer, right? We'll end up staying the night. During the night, Bartz will wander outside, and we'll get a flashback to his childhood, dealing with his father and the crystals. It's a pretty significant moment for him.

Back inside, Zok will chat with Bartz and then give him the Canal Key, which he apparently just 'misplaced.' Classic Zok!

With the key in hand, we can finally leave Tule. Board your ship and head east towards the Torna Canal entrance. But wait! Before we go in, there's a little detour we need to make. Sail south and hug the western coastline until you spot a desert area. This is the first place you can land the ship, so disembark here.

Now, head north from the desert landing spot. You're heading back to the Pirate's Hideout cave. It might seem a little out of the way, but trust us, it's important.

After this, you'll see a scene with Lenna discussing the importance of the crystals with Bartz, Galuf, and Faris. It really drives home the stakes of what you're up against.
