    In Walse Town, access the shops: Inn (20 Gil), Potion (40 Gil), Antidote (30 Gil), Eye Drops (20 Gil), Maiden's Kiss (60 Gil), Mallet (50 Gil), Gold Needle (150 Gil), Phoenix Down (1000 Gil), Tent (250 Gil).

    Magic shop sells Slow (80 Gil), Regen (100 Gil), Mute (320 Gil), Haste (320 Gil), Chocobo (300 Gil), Sylph (350 Gil), Remora (250 Gil).

    Weapon shop sells Battle Axe (650 Gil), Long Sword (480 Gil), Dagger (300 Gil).

    Armor shop sells Iron Shield (390 Gil), Iron Helm (350 Gil), Iron Armor (500 Gil), Kenpo Gi (450 Gil), Cotton Robe (300 Gil).

    To find the Silver Specs, go left of the Inn, down the steps into the water, a little left, and climb steps to a house. Examine the pot inside.

    Leave Walse Town and head for Castle Walse.

    Enter Castle Walse. Continue up to the Throne Room.

    After the King leaves for the Tower of Walse, return to the 2nd Floor and enter the big door on the right. Go down the stairs on the far right.

    In the Storehouse, examine the barrel on the left for a Tent. The box at the top contains 490 Gil. The top barrel on the right contains a Phoenix Down.

    Return to the 2nd floor, go up to the 3rd floor, and talk to the scholars.

    Return to the 2nd floor room below the Throne Room and go down to the 1st floor.

    In the Dungeon, you can talk to prisoners. Do NOT release Lone Wolf.

    From the 1st floor, enter the upper door to the basement.

    In the basement, RUN from Jackanapes. The left path leads to a chest with an Elven Mantle. The right path leads to pots containing 1000 Gil, Speed (Time magic), and 1000 Gil.

    Return to the 1st floor and enter the lower door on the right to go outside.

    Follow the path up, into the water, and to the waterfall. Enter the waterfall to reach the Water Tower.
Tips
  • Buy Time and Summon magic if you plan on using the Time Mage or Summoner jobs.
  • The Elven Mantle found in the basement is a very good accessory.
  • Jackanapes in the basement are very tough; it is recommended to run from them.
  • Elf Toads in the Water Tower can teach the Blue Magic spell Pond's Chorus.
