It's got a cool turn-based battle system where how fast you act depends on your actions, and there's no big overworld map – it's all connected areas. General Strategy Tips

• Know Your Enemy: A lot of fights are about using the right character for the job. Figure out what kind of attacks each enemy is weak against. We'll cover this in the walkthrough and the Enemy List.
• Sphere Grid is Key: Seriously, don't neglect the Sphere Grid. It's tough to beat the game without keeping up with it. We're not covering the super hardcore 'No Sphere Grid' challenges here, though!
• Use Your Mini-Map: This thing shows you hidden paths you might otherwise miss, and they often lead to great loot.
• Status Effects Matter: Both for hurting enemies and protecting yourself. We'll tell you what status ailments enemies are vulnerable to, and later on, how to defend against them.
• Hit Weaknesses: Exploiting elemental or status weaknesses makes fights go faster and helps you get Overkills, which means more AP and better item drops.
• Think Ahead: Later battles get pretty complex. Get to know your enemies and your characters really well, and plan your moves. Boss fights will get a detailed breakdown.
