While not directly playable, other members of Delta Squad – Augustus 'Cole Train' Cole and Damon Baird – play crucial roles in the campaign. Cole is a former Thrashball player, known for his aggressive, in-your-face combat style. He often wields a Gnasher and is excellent at clearing out close-range threats. Baird, the squad's engineer and tech expert, typically carries a Lancer and a Longshot Sniper Rifle, providing long-range support and often offering tactical advice. In single-player, their AI will assist you in combat, providing covering fire, reviving you, and engaging enemies. While you can't control their loadouts, understanding their strengths allows you to better coordinate your own actions. For example, if Cole is pushing forward, you might want to provide covering fire. If Baird is sniping, you can draw enemy attention away from him. Their unique personalities and combat styles add depth to the squad dynamic and are essential for the overall success of the mission.
