Walkthrough

    Enter the Colosseum of Fools and complete the Trial of The Warrior. This trial consists of 11 waves of enemies, with Zote as the final boss if you previously saved him. Upon completion, you will receive a Charm Notch, 900 Geo, and the Warrior achievement.

    Proceed to the Trial of The Conqueror. This trial features 16 waves of enemies and concludes with a boss fight against Oblobble.

    Oblobble Boss Fight: You will face two Oblobbles. Their primary attack is spitting acid. When the first Oblobble is defeated, the remaining one will enrage, healing and boosting its HP. Focus your attacks on one Oblobble at a time to defeat them efficiently.

    After defeating the Oblobbles, collect the Geo and Pale Ore. Make your way to the Bench indicated in the image.

    Prepare for a boss fight against Hornet. She uses similar attacks to previous encounters but with faster intervals and new moves. These include a counterattack when attacked from above and three damaging threads that can be destroyed. Focus on attacking her when she is vulnerable after her attack sequences.

    After defeating Hornet, continue right to drop down a level. Exit the screen via the bottom left into the Cast-Off Shell.

    Go all the way left within the Cast-Off Shell to find and collect the King's Brand.

    After the cutscene, open your map. Head to the bottom exit leading to the City of Tears. Before leaving, climb the wall to the scaffoldings and break them to find a Wanderer's Journal.

    Take the exit to the City of Tears. Use the hidden shortcut from the bottom left (requires swimming). Once in the City of Tears, take the bottom path to the Ancient Basin.
Tips
  • Focus attacks on one Oblobble at a time, as the other will heal and gain HP upon the first's defeat.
  • In the Hornet fight, destroy her thread attacks if she uses them to prevent the screen from becoming overwhelmed.
  • Your best opportunities to heal during the Hornet fight are when she is vulnerable after performing a series of attacks.
