Follow this Luigi's Mansion walkthrough for Observatory 2F (2) to collect Mario's star from the moon after a meteorite shower and a powerful vacuum cleaner blast!

Alright, so you're in Observatory 2F, and it's time for the second part of this area. Don't worry, it's a bit weird, but we'll get through it. First things first, grab any loose cash lying around. There's some in the drawer and also hanging from the chandelier.

Now, head over to the telescope. Just stand near it and press the A button. The game will show you a little cutscene, zooming in on the moon. This is your main clue for what's about to happen.

Suddenly, a mysterious force will make most of the walls and even the roof vanish! You'll be able to walk out onto a bridge that appears to the left. Once you're on this bridge, get your vacuum cleaner ready. Small, yellow meteorites will start falling from the sky. You need to suck these up with your vacuum.

Here's the tricky part: after you've sucked up a meteorite, you need to spit it back out and aim it at the moon. It's a bit like playing darts! If you aim too far left, try aiming a bit more to the right on your next shot, and vice versa. When you finally hit the moon, it'll explode – pretty powerful vacuum, huh? After that, another bridge will materialize.

Head out onto this new bridge. It'll lead you to a tiny moon where Mario's star is waiting for you. It's a strange sequence of events, but that's how you get the star!
