But as you go through the mansion and nab those special ghosts, their portraits will start filling up the frames.

Now, not all frames are created equal. The type of frame you get for a Portrait Ghost depends on the pearl you snagged when you caught 'em. Here's the lowdown:

• Big Pearl = Gold Frame
• Medium Pearl = Silver Frame
• Small Pearl (or none) = Bronze Frame

Don't worry if you don't get a gold frame on your first try. The cool thing is, once you finish the game and start a new file, you can go back to the Gallery and try to improve those frames. So, your goal should be to eventually get all gold frames for every Portrait Ghost!

Oh, and the boss ghosts? Their frames look a little fancier than the regular ones, so you'll know them when you see them.

• E: This is where you'll find good ol' E. Gadd himself! If you chat with him, he'll offer a few options:
• "Where am I?"
• "What's a GB Horror?"
• "Go back to the Lab."
• "Sorry to bother you."

If you want to know your current location, pick the first option. The third option, "Go back to the Lab," is your ticket out of the mansion and back to his laboratory. The fourth is just a polite way to end the conversation.
