Mission 5-4

You'll start on a Bowser Castle track. Your main goal is to pass through 10 numbered gates in sequence. Try to initiate a drift and power slide right from the start to smoothly enter the first gate and navigate the initial turn.

After the first gate, aim for the boost pad on the left side of the track to help you pass through the second gate.

Continue with a power slide around the next corner. You'll need to pass through the third gate, so be mindful of any Thwomps that might be descending – try to go around them if they're down.

The first jumping section is coming up. If you can hit the boost pad located on the far left, then quickly maneuver to the right, you'll pass straight through gate 4. This will significantly help your overall time. Alternatively, if you can make a tight turn, you might be able to hit the boost pad on the right.

At the second jumping part, position your kart towards the middle of the track, then shift to the right to ensure you pass through both gate 5 and gate 6.

As you approach the next section with grated track, you'll see a pit. The strategy here is to avoid hopping over the pit to reach gate 7. Instead, drive *through* the grated section.

Use the boost pads located to the left after going through the grated section. Steer carefully around the upcoming jumps and maneuver your kart to pass through gate 8, which should be ahead.

Power slide around the next corner. Use the mini-turbo you gain from the power slide to help you blast through gate 9.

Keep driving straight ahead from gate 9, and you'll find gate 10. Just be sure to watch out for any Thwomps that might interfere with your path.
