Guide to locating all survey sites for Project Firewalker in Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Learn enemy tactics and Hammerhead usage to find artifacts and rewards.
Walkthrough
- 1Head to the Verr system in the Hawking ETA cluster. Upon landing, you'll face Geth enemies. Use the Hammerhead's homing missiles effectively by aiming for curved paths to targets.
- 2Proceed linearly, eliminating Geth. Avoid landing or entering water, as the Hammerhead does not hover and will explode if it goes too deep.
- 3The first artifact is guarded by a Geth Colossus. Hide on the lower level and fire missiles slightly upwards to defeat it. Continue along the ground, eliminating more Geth, towards the second artifact.
- 4Near the second artifact, another Geth Colossus and Destroyers will appear. Use long-range missile attacks and Jump-Shots to manage angles and defeat them.
- 5After examining the second artifact, head left, up a ramp, and into a structure. A Geth Colossus and other Geth will appear. Engage the Colossus from range and maneuver to get clear shots at the smaller Geth. Examine the third artifact.
- 6The fourth artifact is located above. Jump up the left side to reach it. You may need to get closer than usual to hit the Geth that appear here, but they should not pose a significant threat.
- 7A platinum storage can be mined up the ramp near the fourth artifact. You will be attacked by three rocket drones on the way.
- 8Jump a few times to reach the final artifact. This location features two Colossi, a Prime, and a Destroyer. Maneuver with left-right strafing to avoid incoming fire while engaging the enemies. Be aware that two Colossus shots will destroy the Hammerhead.
- 9To the right of the final artifact, there is an additional platinum storage available if desired.
Tips
- The Hammerhead's missiles have a homing capability. Aim them so they have a curved trajectory to the target rather than a direct line.
- Do not land the Hammerhead or drive into water, as it will explode if submerged.
- When fighting Colossi, use cover and aim missiles slightly upwards if on a lower level.
- For smaller Geth, use Jump-Shots to improve firing angles.
- When facing multiple heavy enemies like Colossi and Primes, strafing left and right is an effective defensive maneuver.
