Armor is a defensive type primarily utilized by mercenaries and mechs. It is weak against abilities like Incinerate and ammunition types like Incendiary Ammo. Most biotic-based abilities are ineffective against enemies with Armor.

Enemies can possess up to two stacked defensive types. Following this, most enemies have health, which is vulnerable to any attack. Some enemies may explode after their armor is pierced.

While your allies also employ varied defensive strategies, there is no significant observed difference in how well they defend against enemies.
