Guide to completing the Demolition Charges mission in Mass Effect. Learn how to defeat Geth Hunters, Destroyers, and Primes, and find the demolition devices.
Walkthrough
- 1After speaking with Kal, you must retrieve the demolition devices to continue the mission.
- 2The Geth Hunters are cloaked and will attack directly. Prioritize them over the Geth Troopers, who tend to stay back.
- 3Geth will continuously spawn from the garage. Sprint past them after eliminating immediate threats. Geth Destroyers attack at close range with flamethrowers; maintain distance. Use cover on the southeast side to group them up for an Overload ability.
- 4Collect the first Demolition Charge located in the north cubby. Head east.
- 5Geth will ambush you as you leave the cubby. Move quickly into cover to avoid being overrun. You cannot pick up the charges while in combat. Ensure the area is clear of any Geth that may have followed you from the garage.
- 6Proceed east and ascend quickly after collecting the first charge. Geth Rocket Troopers will be on the bridge, with Geth Troopers and Destroyers streaming from below.
- 7Destroy the initial Destroyers and Troopers, then enter the building. You can either engage the Geth as they funnel into the room or go up the ramp to destroy the Rocket Troopers.
- 8Open the shutters for a tactical advantage against the Geth on the bridge. Be aware of Troopers sneaking in from behind, but most Geth will be on the bridge and easier to target.
- 9Return to the garage area to deal with the continuous streams of Geth, most of which are easily defeated Troopers.
- 10After collecting the second Demolition Charge, a Geth Prime will appear with two troopers. Utilize the garage cover to lower its defenses.
- 11Once the demolition charges are planted, ensure you are not within the impact radius.
