New Weapons

• 1911 Custom — Naked Snake's pistol from Snake Eater. Unlocked via an unknown password in the extras section.
• Desert Eagle (Long Barrel) — Meryl's powerful pistol with a scope. Earned by obtaining the Fox emblem.
• Patriot — The Boss's devastating submachine gun with infinite ammo and no reload. Earned by obtaining the Big Boss emblem (the most difficult).
• Race Gun — An upgraded Single Action Army revolver. Bullets can ricochet. Earned by finishing the game once on any difficulty.
• Socom (Mk.23) — Snake's old handgun from Shadow Moses. Earned by finding it under the truck at the Shadow Moses helipad. Grants 1000 Drebin Points when aimed for the first time.
• Solar Gun — When fully charged by sunlight, incapacitates enemies and causes them to drop items. Effective against Vamp. Earned by collecting all four Beast dolls and the Haven Trooper doll.
• Tanegashima — A rifle with a mediocre reload time and a high cost (1 million Drebin Points). When fired outside, it has a 30% chance to summon a tornado, eliminating all enemies and causing them to drop items. Available at Drebin's shop after completing the game once. Discounts are available.
• Thor .45-70 — A disguised shotgun that can eliminate an enemy with a single shot. Has a quick reload time. Earned by obtaining the Fox Hound emblem.
• Type 17 — A disguised machine gun with a rapid rate of fire. Earned by obtaining the Hound emblem.
