Follow this MiSide walkthrough to learn how to set up the portal machine, find essential items like batteries and scanables, and progress through the 'I'm Inside A Game?' quest.
Walkthrough
- 1Interact with the phone on the desk, check the message, and download the app.
- 2Help Mita with her tasks: pick up laundry, cook soup (prep ingredients and cut veggies by dragging a slider), and earn 450 by playing minigames to buy her a TV.
- 3Find Mita's hairbrush in the kitchen cabinet beside the dining table (do NOT look in the oven if you want the 'Stay' option later).
- 4Move the wardrobe in Mita's room by clicking the blinking grid space.
- 5After the day changes, give Mita a present. She will then pull you into the game.
- 6Enter the bedroom and find the portal machine. Press the blinking red button to power it up.
- 7Locate the three scan items: Bowknot (bathroom sink counter), Pencil (bedroom side cabinet or desk), and Spoon (kitchen near sink or on table). Locations may vary.
- 8Place the items on the scanner console and press the blinking red button to scan them.
- 9Press the power button again and stand on the portal pad. The power will go out.
- 10Go outside and interact with the fuse box to the right of the front door to restore power.
- 11Find the four missing batteries: Battery 1 (bathroom cabinet), Battery 2 (kitchen counter), Battery 3 (living room near TV), and Battery 4 (kitchen fridge). Remember to pick up fallen magnets after Battery 4 and place them back on the fridge.
- 12Return to the portal console and place the batteries in their slots (indicated by blinking red lights) inside the machine.
- 13Press the power button again and stand on the portal pad. The machine should now work.
- 14Walk towards the bathroom door, then turn around to see Mita appear.
Tips
- Looking in the oven for the hairbrush will lock out the 'Stay' option with Mita later, but is fine for the first playthrough.
- Item and battery locations can be randomized.
- Remember to pick up and replace the magnets on the fridge after collecting Battery 4.
