This quest is all about taking down the mighty Rathalos, a classic Flying Wyvern that's been a staple in Monster Hunter since the very beginning. This quest becomes available once you reach 3-star Hub Quests. The reward for successfully completing it is 5400z, and you'll be hunting in the Lava Caverns with a time limit of 50 minutes.

How to Defeat Rathalos

Rathalos is a serious threat, especially if you're still getting the hang of things. It's much more aggressive than its cousin, Rathian, and loves to stay airborne. If you managed to take down Rathian, you've already got a good foundation. The key here is to remember your dodges and exploit its Dragon weakness. Head to one of the locations listed above where Rathalos has a high chance of appearing. Keep an eye out for its fiery attacks – they can cover a lot of ground and deal significant damage.
